If you want to grow in your walk with the Lord, there is something for everyone at Vertical! Whether you are just starting your walk or been following Jesus for years, there is a group at every level of your walk.  These groups are just some of the ways you can further your walk with Christ and grow as a disciple and become a disciple maker!

Step 1 and Step 2

A “get to know” course on who we are, our origin story, and where we are heading. You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions, meet others who are new to Vertical, and discover all the ways you can use your God-given gifts! Step 1 is on the 1st Sunday of every month and Step 2 is on the 3rd Sunday following Sunday morning service. Please attend Step 1 before signing up for Step 2.

Lecture Series

A classroom-style format where participants will discover gospel fundamentals and essentials to a deepening faith and growing in Christ. Lectures will be 45 minutes followed by 45 minutes of break out for discussion and mutual ministry time. These classes are coming soon.

Discipleship Groups

Also known as “D-Groups,” these are small groups of 3-5 men or 3-5 women geared toward accelerating our walk with Christ via higher commitment. D-Groups will encourage spiritual disciplines, provide accountability, and strengthen obedience to Christ. These groups meet mid week at various times and places depending on the schedules of those in the groups.

Small Groups - Launching early September 2025

Mid-sized, mixed gender groups that emphasize community within the body of Christ. This involves extended discussion of sermon topics and times of mutual ministry. These groups will meet twice monthly on Sunday afternoons and evenings.

Vertical Teens

Large group gathering time for grades 6-12 with elements of worship, teaching, games and other activities. Teens meet from 4-5:30 pm on Sunday evenings.

Teen D-Groups

Peer-led teen groups focused on dissecting the Gospel with one another to help encourage, hold accountable, and build important disciplines into their lives. D Groups meet on weekly on Wednesdays at 6:30 pm

Kids Ministry (Kids Min)

Program for children from Pre-School to 5th grade that provides Biblical foundations in a fun, engaging manner. Kids Min meets weekly on Sunday mornings during morning worship at 10 am. No preregistration is required.  However, we do ask that you check-in at the Welcome Desk each week and print a security label for drop off and pick up.
